P.S. It is written something like; Home Sweet Home in Turkish; Evim Canım Evim…

After I publishes this post my sister told me to put dotes, as you see I just added them in seconds hihi:)

Sailing Tray

Standard

This tray had not nice edges so I used wood paste to have a smooth surface and then I loved the aging view, just kept it like that… The decoupage pages are from an old National Geographic magazine which I do not really appreciate due to their attitude how showing people like aliens sometimes. Like, they are normal and civilized and others not…

Anyway, this is a new technique; wood aging with wood paste, and hope you like it…

Lovely Pillow

Standard

This lovely illustration made by my niece. I loved it!!! This is her portrait with my husband… There is also red written question; ‘Aunty, I love you so much, do you love me’? Yes, I LOVE YOU!!!:)

With fabric transfer finish I made this lovely pillow. You need to photocopy of the original art work on the mirror view. It takes two days to dry out. I am not patient so it was a good lesson to learn how to be patient. My mom sewed it, thanks to mommy and my beautiful niece…

A Present

Standard

I wanted to prepare a present for my brother in law, he is a professor designing robots and attending Robocup since I know him.

I found a beautiful smart cartoon at Alex Noriega Sketchblog. I was so excited and just could wait to ask Alex to use it but I hope he will be happy to know, lots of serious professors and science students will have a look at it…

I wanted to paint a really black box while I started it. Then, I got this aged wood box with decoupage…
To have aged wood you can use an ordinary candle and sandpaper. First, paint black, then rub candle, then paint beige color, finally sandpaper…
